Dashboard
The Dashboard is the app's home page, served at the site root and reachable any time from the Dashboard entry at the top of the left sidebar. There is no separate permission to view it: every signed-in member of a workspace can open it. Individual sections and shortcuts inside it hide themselves based on what you are allowed to do (see Permissions below).
It is a personal overview. You get a greeting header, four KPI tiles, an optional discovery summary, three usage charts (plus a credits chart if you can view billing), a quick-actions rail, and a project activity feed.
Workspace vs. project scope
The Dashboard always belongs to your current workspace, shown by the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar. Most of it also follows the active project, set by the project switcher just below:
- No project selected: KPI tiles and charts show workspace-wide numbers, the discovery summary is hidden, and the activity feed has nothing to show.
- A project selected: KPI tiles, charts, and the activity feed narrow to that project. Chart subtitles gain a "for this project" suffix so it is clear you are looking at a filtered view, and the discovery summary appears if that project has ever generated one.
Switching the active project or workspace refreshes the whole page automatically, so you do not need to reload.
The header
- An "Overview" eyebrow and a "Welcome back" heading, with a short line on what your factory and agents have been up to.
- New project, shown only if you can create projects (
org:projects:create). It takes you to Projects. - Queue a ticket, shown only if you can create issues (
issue:create) and the active project is not archived or read-only. It takes you to the Development board.
KPI tiles
Four cards across the top, each with an icon, a label, a hint, and a value. Values come from the dashboard overview endpoint, and a tile reads as a placeholder until its value loads.
| Tile | Hint | What it shows |
|---|---|---|
| Agent runs | last 30 days | How many agent runs happened. This is the primary, highlighted tile. |
| Indexed repos | in your factory | How many repositories have been indexed. |
| Agent session time | this period | Total time agents spent working. It shows minutes under an hour, or hours to one decimal place at 60 minutes and above. |
| Active days streak | consecutive days | How many consecutive days you have been active. |
Discovery summary
Shown only when a project is active and that project has generated (or is generating) a discovery summary. Otherwise the section is skipped, so the page never shows an empty state for projects that have never run discovery.
You get up to five cards, each with a count and up to four sample items as badges:
- Technologies
- Repositories
- Cloud accounts
- Environments
- Pipelines
A Generating badge with a spinner sits next to the section heading while a discovery job is running, and the cards refresh on their own until it finishes. Click a card to open a modal with the full count, an AI-written description for that category, and the complete list of items as badges. View Complete Summary (top right) jumps to the Discovery tab's Summary view for the full write-up.
Charts
A two-column grid of area charts, all scoped by the active project the same way as the KPI tiles:
- Agent session time: hours the planner and executor spent per day.
- Tokens consumed: compute spend over time, formatted in thousands once past 1,000.
- Chat sessions: assistant conversation volume per day.
- Credits used this period: shown only if you can view billing (
org:billing:view). It shows the running total for the current billing period in the card title, a per-day chart, and a View usage link to the full Usage page. Unlike the other three charts, this one always reflects the org-wide billing period reset date, not a fixed calendar window.
Quick actions
A vertical rail of shortcut cards, filtered to only what you can do right now:
- Queue a ticket: requires
issue:createand a mutable (non-archived) project. - Learning paths: a link to the auto-generated walkthroughs over your indexed code.
- Chat assistant: a link to the chat assistant.
If none of these apply to you, the whole section is hidden rather than shown empty.
Project activity
A feed of the most recent activity for the active project (up to six entries), each with an icon, a title, and a relative timestamp. Its states are:
- No project selected, or no data: "No activity yet."
- Loading: a centered spinner.
- Error: "Failed to load activity."
View project (top right of the card) opens the Development board. This feed is shared project activity, not a personal notification list.
Permissions
Nothing gates the Dashboard page itself. Individual pieces hide themselves based on:
org:projects:createshows the header's New project button and the project switcher's New project option.issue:createplus a mutable project shows the header and quick-actions Queue a ticket shortcuts.org:billing:viewshows the Credits used this period chart.
Everything else (KPI tiles, the other three charts, discovery summary, and activity feed) is visible to anyone who can see the workspace, scoped only by which project you have active.
