Create a project

Work in ACE lives inside workspaces and projects. This is the first thing you set up.

Workspaces and projects​

A workspace is a container for your work. A project sits inside a workspace and holds one product or codebase, along with everything ACE learns and builds for it.

tip

If you're new, start with a single personal workspace. You can add more later.

Step 1: Open your workspace​

Go to Workspaces, and select the one you want to work in, or create a new one.

Step 2: Create a new project​

  1. Select New project.
  2. Name it after the product it represents. This guide uses Trakk.
  3. Confirm to create the project.

As you work through this guide, the project fills up with the repositories you connect, the knowledge ACE gathers, the agents it generates, and the cards you create to ship features.
